[soved]Canonical url pointing to www.domain.tld/home was created by gcprnet

After upgrading to FC version 1.5.6 RC9 (r1522) the canonical url of my frontpage now points to www.domain.tld/home instead of www.domain.tld/ . Before the update there was no canonical symbol in my browser when I went to my frontpage. Is there a way I can change it that the canonical url for my frontpage is the root of my domain again?

If the 2 pages are the same
and if both pages has canonical URL to be .../home

then it is a good canonical URL

.../home redirects to / via 301 for "cosmetic purposes" because I don't want to have this pesky "home" in my url.
Sure the content is the same but won't there be problems with redirecting from /home to / AND setting the canonical url to /home?

If they are the same it should be OK, if someone knows something different ...

if you want you can use some joomla plugin that does some replacement, but it is your choise
