[solved]Problems with import csv

FC version 2.0.0 RC9 (r1514)
joomla 2.5.7

in joomla 1.5.26 FC- import function worked perfect for me.
Field Separator ,
Item Separator " was standard

in 2.0.0 RC9 (r1514) i use:a) for saving my csv and b) import configuration:
Field Separator ^
Item Separator ~

The Result of import a simple csv (only fieldnames "title" and "text")



1. Import item with title: '
*****
' success

2. Import item with title: '' error FLEXI_ARTICLES_MUST_HAVE_A_TITLE


So why first column "title" gets ignored????
FC uses "text" as title!!!

Latest revision (not downloadable) has much more options for CSV import, plus debugging messages and debugging "test run" mode

you can use in a couple of days

Field Separator: ^
Field Encloser Character: ~
Item Separator: \n

item separator MUST contain \n !!!!!!!!(not empty)

has nothing todo with export filters from open office
in open office define:
Field Separator: ^
Field Encloser Character: ~

^ and ~ are variable.
