Strange binding issue

Hi all,

since the update to r1547/r1549 FC tells me every time while in items list that some entries are not bound to their extended fields.

It doesn't disappear if I click "Bind" though something seems to happen. What's going on here? Can I adjust this manually?

Recently we added support for items with no category (category id is empty)

NOTE: i do not mean uncategorized items, these item have category id

Maybe these items have no category id, so did you select
"default category for items without one"
before clicking BIND?

... yes, I assigned the desired category, but the bind-action didn't succeed, i.e. change the catid of the content items.

But I could manually identify and update them (searched for catid=0), so everything's fine now.

It was J1.5 or J2.5?

maybe it was missing something more than catid

is setting catid the only thing that you did?

it was for J2.5, and I only changed catids.

BUT in r1551 this update action is not sufficient (repeated this in another project) - there are some entries left which remain unbound. I tried this with alle possible combinations of selector settings.

Which other catids or entries could I change?

it can be case that we have not - anticipated -,

e.g. till recently we have not anticipated case that an item has not category-id and no-language and this item appear as an error in popup item-selector

it is not possible to know what is happening without access to site
