Hi forum!

Can somebody help me with one issue?

Im using latest version on flexicontent and joomla and im using falang+flexicontent falang extension.

In the flexicontent article i can add a "Custom <title>" at "Parameters: SEO Configuration".

Now i want to translate this custom title also, how can i do this, or where can i find this translation field in falang?

Thanks in advance

Im using latest joomla and latest Flexicontent

About what you ask:
parameters are the item property "attribs" like e.g. "title" is an item property
both are of TYPE text

Falang does not seem to include some handler for it
you can edit them raw by adding to
administrator/components/com_falang/contentelements/content.xml

this line:
<field type="textarea" name="attribs" translate="1" >Article Text</field>

then you click copy button in translation form and CAREFULLY edit the parameter text without deleting any quotes etc

I discourage the above since you might break the format of it

For adding support for parameters maybe contact Falang authors

NOTE:

If you decide to use Falang

then we suggest using Falang for everything EXCEPT for ITEMS ... because
-- item parameter can not be translated easily,
-- plus custom fields can not be translated

So we suggest that for items you use FLEXIcontent built-in item associations of translations (this is the way it is done in 3.0+ too)

Of course if you do not need to translate all item properties or custom fields then Falang is great convenience.

Regards
