Category structure

Did you try creating a single Joomla Menu Item of Type "item form submission" and not selecting any type ?

User will be asked to select Content Type in the form,
-- then after he/she clicks apply , he/she will be displayed with the custom fields

I didn't know that. Thanks, But there is one problem, I don't want to show list all the Types.

I want to create custom select field with category recognition.
With this, I don't need to create many Types and many categories.

I want to add elements in custom select field like below format.
Value - Label1 - Label2
1::320::BMW%%
2::520::BMW%%
3::X1::BMW%%
4::Edge::FORD%%
5::Escape::FORD%%
6::Flex::FORD%%
7::Focus::FORD%%

My question is that if I click BMW from category Brand(in first red box) then below Model select field
(second red box) will only show BMW model list.

In flexicontent field plugin, How can I bring above category name?
I tried with but doesn't work.

EDIT: Also, How can I make 3 elements list(Value::Label1::Label2%%)? At the moment, select field only supports for 2 elements.(Value::Label%%)

What about this scenario.

One Type: UsedCar
Category: Usedcar
|_Brand BMW
|_Brand FORD

Create Select field(assigned to Type UsedCar and Template)
- No elements has given.

Select fields NOT assigned to Type UsedCar/Template, these select fields are used only to hold each Brand's model list, like used as DB.
Select field - Elements with BMW Model list
Select field - Elements with FORD Model list

Populates elements in empty Select-field based on main category.

I kind of doubt it will work with filtering in category view.
