In order for content plug-ins to work with FLEXIcontent do they need to be registered after FLEXIcontent plug-ins.
In other words it is best to order first FLEXIcontent plug-ins and then the content plug-ins? anybody know if this is the case. I have a ton of content plug-ins that aren't working so I'm wondering if they just need to be registered after the FLEXIcontent fields??

I haven't really tried a ton of them myself, but so far the ones I have worked more or less.

Is it hard to try? Just go to the plugin manager and change the order there. If you get it figured out, it would be great to see your list added to the thread: <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href=" www.flexicontent.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=494 ">viewtopic.php?f=22&t=494

no, its not hard to try. I'm gonna give it a whirl. Only thing is I am always short on time so if I could get a quick answer rather than testing it with (fingers crossed) I thought Ide post the question.
Also I built my own content plug-ins but they don't work with FLEXIcontent even though they are not reliant on com_content.

Here's my guess : the order does not matter too much if at all.
I'll try this out this weekend with a few simple plug-ins to see if the ordering solves the issue, but if anyone else has some knowledge post back.

Thanks :D

Yeah, order probably doesn't matter although certain plugins I know do like Alpha Toolbar...

Yep order not affecting anything
I wonder what it is about the onPrepareContent event that disrupts things.
I'm going to have to look at some other plugins for ideas. I'm not too sure about thus but i wonder if onPrepareContent only works in the contentx of com_conetent??
I'm sure this cant be the case.
I have some studying to do.
