Why does the text area shrink to the left???

I have created a text area field and associated it with a type and published the article on the frontend with the field but now.
The html editor that i have used or rather the content that i have used in the html editor does not occupy the center. I mean to say that i have aligned the text to the right but it only occupied till the width of the text that is used.

I would like to show this using a few snapshots
This is the snapshot of the backend showing the
General "Description" and the new custom field "fc text area" and the content middle aligned and right aligned respectively in both the editors

The figure below show the result. I have added a frame to show the right aligned content occupying only part of the body and not completely right aligned

you have a css conflict
use firebug to find it !

Usually we do not respond to these since this is not a bug but specific to customizations applied by you WEBSITE css.

but something like this is common to multiple we would like to know and update our CSS to avoid it

I think the other admin was right it seems to be some conflict with the template.
I am looking at it, and i will post it if i figure it out and i can't then i will give you the details
