JED listing for 1.5 components ends

Hi,
I just read that the JED listing for 1.5 components ends March 1st. There is already a big discussion in the Joomla forum: community.joomla.org/blogs/leade ... am+Blog%29

You should really consider to release a stable FC version soon and update the JED entry because otherwise all comments and ratings for FC in the JED will be lost!

Recently besides some bug-fixes and performance improvements , and some new features, over r1601

A full feature faceted search/filtering for FLEXIcontent is being tested , to make

Display filter as (all fields) (these are finished)

-- single select
-- single text search

-- dual date RANGEs with date picker
-- dual text / number RANGE
-- dual select drop down RANGE

-- single toggle buttons (radio)
-- multiple toggle buttons (checkboxes)

For the above you can :

1. show item count
2. use current category filtering with a smart way (include all filtering stuff EXCEPT current filter)
3. Show unavailable options as disabled
4. Group Date filter into years, months or days

-- Also caching the creation of filters if possible
-- Very fast creation of search index
for usage by search view
-- Besides the very fast creation you are warned to recreate it when it is needed

-- these for category view, search view, filtering module

These is finished but it is being tested for search view as there are some issues yet to resolve.

Hi, I must say that I am not an expert developer but try to manage around, I have been testing many CCK around and I must say that FC is the best one ever.

I have been adding a review on JED but this is definitely not enough to say you thank enough guys for such a powerful and simple extension, it is more powerful and easier to manage than any other CCK.

As far as my knowledge is limited about FC, if you allow me, where I can, I will also take much part in the forum to provide some support to beginners (newbies) who are around for simple stuff.

As 'micker', I can also provide support in English and French and somehow, I can also provide support for future translation to help you guys.

Furthermore, once my first website (done with FC at nearly 80%) is completed and launched, as soon as first income comes out, I will definitely make a good donation to you guys, I know that my contribution might not be that much but still, it will contribute to all your efforts. Thanks again very much...
