I reinstall Flexicontent r1648 (without uninstalling before), and here is the message information I get :

There is a problem with phpthumb cache :

I can access to the admin panel of Flexicontent, I have no longer the "post installation" task to update (surely due to you intervention

)
All seems good except the plugin - Image / Image Gallery -.
I can't upload an image, certainly due to this phpthumb cache error during installation.

I don't know if I have to create another topic for my plugin images problem.
If you have an idea... :oops:

The image gallery uses a different folder than phpThumb cache folder, to create thumbnails, these thumbnails never expire,

the phpThumb cache folder is only for "on-demand" thumbnails which expire after
30 Days or when max cache-size is reached or max number of thumbnails is reached

So all 3 problems are related to different folders, but all problems is due to the fact that apache doesnot have permissions to write to these folders

Make sure your server is running PHP in SU-exec mode, contact your web-host administrator, to ask him to do exactly this, or examine for why this permissions issue exists

OK, my problem is solved now.
I use the securised path for the images plugin, and the permissions wasn't correctly enabled.
I change the CHMOD and now it's OK.
However, I don't know why the CHMOD have changed. :shock:
