Apply and Save buttons in frontend item form was created by brandonking

Hello,

Could you explain what is difference between Apply and Save button in item form? :oops:

Optional buttons in Global Config:
Apply
Save & Preview
Preview Latest

I want to have Save&Close and Save&New Buttons.

apply you save but you stay in form
save you save and see article
you can rename it by override language of joomla 2.5
without hacking any file

you request save and new is for front-end form ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I understood how apply and save works.
Yes, we need Save&New button for front-end Item form.

There is a new category option (and Global too) for a new button in the frontend category view called: "Add new content" (to current category)

I know this is not the same as what you asked but you may find this useful
