hi
when I use a field of type image I get in my apache error log this error

images/stories/flexicontent/.htaccess pcfg_openfile: unable to check htaccess file, ensure it is readable,

when I check the folder, I can see that there is no .htaccess file....

is this a error or is there something I missed

Im running verson 2.0 of flexicontent and joomla 2.5.9

Hello,
Try applying this fix and test:

-- edit image field plugin file:
plugins/flexicontent_fields/image/image.php

Find line
chmod($destpath, '0755');
and change to
chmod($destpath, 0755);

This message indicates that this folder or some parent folder could not be read.

You need to try to upload an image , so that changed code will be updated.

If it is does not work then please also try this:
flexicontent.org/forum/index.php?f=21&t=...v=viewtopic&start=10

and there is no thumbnail showing or any piture in the webiste, but Im allowed to upload and can see the picture before I save the article

also the files in the folder had right permission from the start.

but the error message is from what I can read that the file ".htaccess" isnt readable or in the wrong format

Since the file .htaccess is not present in the folder the error is probably because of bad permissions of last folder or some of its parents

Please check the permission of parent folders too

are all permission of parent folder "755" until you reach joomla root folder?
