Questions for Importing items

Hello,

I just want to make a few things clear before I import 5000 records.

Questions:
1) Publication Dates: If I don't thick any options, Will items be published and published date will be the date of import?
2) Category selection: I will select one primary category. About Secondary category, I will thick for File override Secondary categories. Even if I have 3-level of category structure, 1-level will be the primary category, 2-level and 3-level will be secondary category? If then Can I add cid like 56,43,55?
56 and 55 is 2-level category id, 43 is 3-level category id.

Hello, create a test file of a few items and then just test, by enabling debugging of first 2 rows and see what the result is ...

-- About Creation date and Publish-UP dates there option to use dates from file otherwise current are used

-- About main category if you use from file the it must be a separate column (see description)

Also better break file into 200 items to avoid timeouts ? (a future implementation maybe faster)

I don't find any descriptions about category except below.

(Use 'cid' column, e.g. 54,14,51)

But you mention to use separate column. Do you mean like right below or the next one?

e.g. Name~~Address~~Tel~~cid~~cid~~cid
~~John~~Sydney~~123-456-789~~54~~14~~51
OR
e.g. Name~~Address~~Tel~~cid
~~John~~Sydney~~123-456-789~~54,14,51

Hello, besides column cid (secondary categories)

there is a checkbox option,
to enable using the column with name 'catid',
which contain a single category id number e.g. 54
