Hi,

I come with a new question, because i found a display difference wether i'm on the home page or not.

Few images for better explaination :

Of course, I always use the same module, which is in my header, and is publish on all pages of the site.

Here is the result aspect if i make a search from the home page (This is the good appearance i would like to have on every page)(Recherche avancée means "Advanced search", and is the landing page if i make a research from the home page) :
<!-- ia2 -->searchok.png<!-- ia2 -->[/attachment:32tpgt9t]

Here is the result if i make exactly the same search with the same module in page other than home page :
<!-- ia1 -->searchnok.png<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:32tpgt9t]

More, here is the result if i click on the "Advanced search" button (no option appears).
<!-- ia0 -->searchnokadv.png<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:32tpgt9t]

What am i doing wrong?

Thank you for your answer, and have a good week end!

Hello,
The problem is the currently active menu item is different right?

The search view uses the parameters from currently active menu item.

How many Search view menu items do you have?

Thanks for your answer,

I only have ONE search view menu item...

As i see it, it seems like when i am on an internal page, the module doesn't find the item (ie : the url is not the good one) so it switchs on the "standard" search Template. Perhaps i'm wrong, but here are the url after search :

From the frontpage : ww.mysite.com/index.php?searchwo ... Itemid=894

and from an internal page : www.mysite.com/nos-publications/ ... Itemid=894

As you can see, the same item is called, but in the second case, the internal page (/nos-publications) make the difference...

Am i wrong?

So

1. the problem is when using our search module to enter a search text.

2. Search view will use the current menu item instead of the FLEXIcontent search menu item

Thanks for the answer. Sorry but i don't understand why you say : "Search view will use the current menu item". Why "current"? I only have ONE search menu item! It's the same one one every place of the site. (item 894)...

Even if i don't understand the technical problem, can you tell me what i must do??

Thanks a lot!
