how to customize tag page

Hello

I know how to customize the template for a category or an article quite without changing the php code of the template (using just fields in the template page).

Is there the same avalaibility to do it with tags ?

Hello,

1. You can add custom fields in the configurations of
-- the tags cloud module
-- the "DEFAULT" Joomla menu item (menu item set in FLEXIcontnet Component Configuration)

2. About making custom HTML output for the page you will need to create a joomla template override:

-- a. copy file
components/com_flexicontent/views/tags/tmpl/default.php
to
templates/myjoomla_template/html/com_flexcontent/tags/default.php
-- b. change the copied file

I have copied the default tags template to the Joomla template directory.

The default template may suits me but I have a problem with the images : In the articles the images are in a specific field.

How can I get the image in the tag view : for the moment I get the message 'no image'

Look into appropriate configuration:
-- the tags cloud module OR
-- the "DEFAULT" Joomla menu item (menu item set in FLEXIcontnet Component Configuration)

you selected to extra image from description or you selected an image field?

-- Do you copy the latest default.php of v2.0.1 ?

Sorry for my late answers. I was not working on this subject on last days.

My Flexicontent is the 2.0.1 (1559)
I want to use for the tag page the same image (field 'produit') that I use on the description

I have had a look on the parameter table in Flexicontent component home page. I have not seen where to get the information.

For the moment I have not setup the cloud module (as I don't expect to use it.

Parameter name:

Default Menu Itemid
for Tags View Default Configuration


Select a valid Tags view Joomla Menu Item
