[solved] using a specific template for an article

Hello,

Sometime I need to use another template than the item default one.

As you told me in a older post I'm using the 'ilayout' parameter in the url of the page I want to use.

Today I have created a new template. I get the following message at the top of the page when I call the page :

Current Item Layout Template is 'auteur_liste_livres':
- This is neither the Content Type Default Template, nor does it belong to the Content Type allowed templates.
- Please correct this in the URL or in Content Type configuration.
- Using Content Type Default Template Layout: 'auteurs'

It's the 1st time I see this message. What do I need to do to use the specific template

For minor/medium security reasons your users must be prevented from displaying items with non-authorized template layout (by using the URL)

To add the template layout to the allowed templates,
1. Edit (in backend) the Content Type of you items
2. at the top right there is a parameter "Allowed Template Layouts" , there you can select allowed templates, or select none to allow ALL
