displaying the article ID number

Hello,

I want to display for the article ID number for administrator group.

No problem to limit the display to 'special' users but I dont succeed displaying the ID number.

I have created an hidden text field. The default value is displayed when the field is empty.
In the default value I have entered [c:2oh5tbmp]{item->id}[/c:2oh5tbmp].


On my public page I get '{item-id}' and not the value of the item-id.

How can I display this Id number.

Default value is used exactly as it entered !!

1. Enter a default value:
 

2. Set the value to be loaded instead of empty in frontend views

3. Add the replacement in prefix parameter
BUT please READ description of it for available replacements, and their syntax

I have found the {item->id} in the description of related item.
I don't see it in the prefix-suffix-separator definition.

Does it mean it's impossible to get it unless updating the source of the template ?

You can place it inside the "item HTML" parameter used to display the related items

I'm using the v1659 (the last one).

My problem is not with the back related item : I use it to display an hyperlinked image.

I try to get the ID number of the current article in a text field.
I want to have the ID number in a detailed article or in the list of articles inside the category page.

This value is only displayed for administrators : they need it to create an hyperlink to the article from another site.

i reread the description of the Header of
prefix/suffix/separator/etc parameters and this is not in the description , and it is not there, neither it was in the code. But i have added it for v2.0.2:

in which you will be able to use : {{item->id}}
