I would like to put a filter in some views, but this filter should not be accessible and hidden.

Only by creating a category menu item with persistent filters

Hello
I put a persistent filter for a radio button Boolean field 1::Yes%% 2:No %%

So in my menuitem view category I put a persistent filter
52##1%% where 52 is the field Id

It doesn't worK.
Is there a reason ?
Could I put elsewhere a filter ? with a plugin ?

Hello,

first check that you enabled the parameter "Override Configuration", otherwise all parameters of menu item are ignored

Hello,
ok, these parameters are applied always regardless of the override (i have just rechecked this)

but they will not be applied if menu item does not "match" the current view, but this check was fixed in v2.0.2 (if i remembered correctly)

- which version do you have?
- do you direct click on the menu item?
- is the menu item language-associated with other menu item?

is it possible to put some filters values in get or post ? or use a plugin.

I want to create a month event view with an event date (FC field)
So I could create a toolbar or a month/year picker and put a get value for the link.
the get value should be month=03&year=2013 for instance.
Then how to filter with a plugin ?

Hello,
FLEXIcontent v2.0.3 beta3 fixes the persistent and initial filters to work in all cases

(in v2.0.2 persistent/initial filters do not work if they are not in the present in the filtering form)

so what about using a menu item?
