Hello
In item view, is it possible to display/hide specific field dependent on the value of another field?
For example field1 is related item and field2 is a text area. field2 should be visible only if there is no related item in field1(it is empty). When I add related item i want field2 to be hidden. Also when related item expires(finish publishing) field2 should be visible again.

you could do with some js/ JQuery coding that executes with the onchange event of the form field element

Can that be done with some php function instead?
like: if field1 is empty - echo field2
or something like that?

Hello, such a behavior is useful and we have plans for it , first we will implement chained selects and then more field dependencies, just now this functionality is not available
