I am talking about workflow. From a usability point of view it makes no sense that I can not "create" a translation group starting from the original article.

indeed it is problematic for sites that do not have all articles in one language then translate them in other languages.

Will do something about this in J3.x, that also has article associations for translations

hello in v2.0.3 we added usage of select2 lib in primary category form field,

but we forgot to add the needed changes for validation to work, we will fix this,

and about combining the General and "categories/tags" TABs, i think we can add a parameter for it in configuration of frontend item form (some future version will add some configuration parameters for backend item form too)
