Relation items field permission error ? was created by loicberder

Hello

Authors are not able to use a "relation items field" in the submit form... they can't view and choose any categories... both in frontend and backend

that field is working well for admin, super users...
they are able to view and select categories

I have check the field config, it seems correct (see image)

I don't now what more to do or check
anyone can help please ?

Hello,
user are allowed to select items from categories that they either have:
- create OR edit OR edit.own

So do your use have any of the above privilege in these categories ?

ok thanks
i understand now

I was triyng to use relation fields and "geo zones items" to build a multi country/regions/cities selection...

i'll wait for a dropdown combination selecting field
