Categories list

I'm using FLEXIcontent 2.0.2 r1680 with Joomla 1.5.26.

I'm trying to do a simple menu item and I can't figure out how.

I'd like a list of sub-categories from a specific parent category. I was able to do that part with the Directory menu item type.

Now, in the list, when I click a sub-category, I'd like a simple list of the items of that sub-category. When I click on the item, it brings the item page.

I'm not that familiar with FLEXIcontent so any help will be appreciated.

The category view opens and shows item of category right?

Yes when you click on a content item, the item view opens and displays the details of the content item
