No Tabs in Frontend item form was created by brandonking

Hello,

Using Latest version, FLEXIContent - 2.0.3 - r1687

I have added groupmaker fields to have Tabs in frontend item form.
Follow the instruction. www.flexicontent.org/documentation/faq/7...up-marker-field.html

I can see Tabs in backend item form, but Tabs are not showing in frontend item form.
I see that there is css rule which makes a form invisible.

Code:

.fctabber {
display: none;
}

If I disable this then I can see item form without Tabs.
I don't see any js conflict either.

Any idea how I can solve this?

can you post a link to test it ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello,
the tabs are rendered on completion of page load via JS, so if JS is broken or it's execution stops for some reason tabs will not appear

i think we should remove this CSS rule, as on pages with JS errors it will only cause user confusion ...

Hello,
the onLoad (on page load) code of tabs is not executing for some reason

-- i removed (from your site and via r1688) the CSS rule that hides the TABs until the page loads
thus your frontend item form will now show-up

-- and we will see if we can call the TABs code in an alternative way
