Question: use flexicontent to replace std weblinks component

Hi,

for a specific case, I would need to "make" a customized version of the standard weblinks component

the specifics :
- joomla 2.5 site
- user want's to :
1* add a link
2* assign to a category
3* add a short description
4* upload a logo/image (without having to worry about resizing of adding it to description, thus via a separate image field)

display it in the front-end in a simple list like :
- logo, under the logo the link/name, under the name the description

as you can see, options 1 to 3 are standard in the standard weblinks component, it is option 4 which makes the standard component no longer usable


would this be possible with flexicontent, without being too complex?

simply:
1 create new type "weblink"
2 create image field => use link option (no popup but use url)
3 desactived title description alt if you want
after use title item / description / image field
4 use a template like blog
