For the Universal Module - anyway to have more than 2 columns? I go to Item List and there are just 2 options for Columns 1 and 2? I would like to have 2 rows of 4 columns of articles...

One other thing - anyway to show the universal module just on article pages and not category pages... one way would be to have a menu link to each article and assign it to that menu item but there are thousands... any other way?

Do you display all items from same category?
If not, you can create another universal module to display.(each module will have 1 row and 2 columns)
Otherwise, use css rule to make it happen.

For example, If you are displaying standard items(not featured)
Then apply below css rules.
Code:
.mod_flexicontent .mod_flexicontent_standard_wrapper{ width: 25%; } .mod_flexicontent_wrapper .modclear { float: left!important; clear: none!important; width: auto!important; }

If you want to show module only item view, you need to get Advanced Module Manager from NoNumber(It's Free). Please check below link.
www.flexicontent.org/extensions/55-suppo...-module-manager.html

Edit: Once Advanced Module Manager installed, go to Module Assignment in your universal module.
1.Thick Menu items and select appropriate menu.
2.Thick URL and Type view=item

If you look at the following page:
webworxapp.com/f1-racing/item/55 ... al-hearing

at the bottom you see RELATED STORIES FROM THIS CATEGORY... would like to have 4 across rather than 2... and put the article text under the images...

Also, know of any handy way to put the Related Stories section that you see above that, which unlike the above which is the module - this part is a Relation field, in the inset of the article rather than below it? The default item template doesnt have a spot for it to put it in the article/description field.

Also - I wonder is there anyway to have the relation field for each article to automatically assign / "pick" articles to have as related stories rather than going back through all the articles and assign them manually? Right now I have to go in all 30K articles and assign articles to the Related Stories section... that will take a long time.

As I told you, Just apply custom css
Code:
.mod_flexicontent .mod_flexicontent_standard_wrapper{ width: 25%; } .mod_flexicontent_wrapper .modclear { float: left!important; clear: none!important; width: auto!important; }

Not quite understand, Where do you want to put Related Stories block? It looks nice though.. :)

Hello,

-- about displaying in item view,
there are parameter in the Slider
"Hide/Show Module: Specify when module will create (and show) its contents"

-- about automatically selecting relating items:
who will decide what is related ? with what criteria,

currently 2 ways to relate items:
a. items are related if the have common tags
b. items are related via a direct relation made by the relation field

About making it easier we have plans for tagging, we will support J3.x nested tagging
but also make some enhancements to it (in future):
- assign/remove tags to multiple items at once
- suggest existing tags out of item's description
- etc

Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite having a long list of functions) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?
