Hello,

It seems that these characters are not recognized properly by collation
utf8_general_ci

I'm already try to change db to latin2 croatian. Also try with all unicode,hex,dec,oct... characters but problem stay on the characters ć,č,š....Somehow I did manage letters ž,đ........ My knowledge of php is very limited so if you have any solution guide me step by step.

Hello,

so you are interested in croation collation of utf8

Here is a link to a user requesting a croation specific collation to be made:

it seems that closest match is utf8_slovenian_ci but it has some problems as it treats some other characters wrongly.

i think there is no collation for mysql that can support Croatian properly
