Multi upload in image galleries

Image galleries allow upload of only one picture at a time. Which settings should be altered to let bath uploads.

How do you reuse the images that have been placed in the folder of a specific item. It is a huge waste of resources when you have to upload the same image twice in different items. If the images are not placed into a field of database specific image or reusable images then they cannot be reused.
this leads to very less use of images that are already present in the database. and bloats the site.
I think it is better if you force a file manger inside the item or start off a file manager field.

About reusing images we have 2 modes , one reusable and one item specific,

you would use the item specific for non-reusable images: a car, a hotel, an event

about batch upload to save time, this will be done in a future release
