Dogfrisbee: Playerprofiles, Event Results and Ranking

Aloha FlexiContent Crew,

we would like to use Flexicontent to display our dogfrisbee competion series with "team profiles", "event results" and a "ranking list". We are looking for a solution for so long and we thing Flexicontent can make it happen.

What we need are a few hints to get the connections between Profiles, Event Results and Ranking

- Teamprofils: Playername, adresse, Dogname, breed...
It would be great to have lists of the events results that the team attended within the profile. I guess we can handle that with the related and reverse related fields. Something like this freestyledisc.org/profile.jsp?pl ... 1244&top=y
We would like to add the teams manual and give joomla users the option to add/edit some infos to there own profile.

- Event Results: what would be the best method to display every single event in a list and connect them to the profile so the team can see what events they attended and what results they had. I guess also with the related fields. But, how can we connected about 50 competitiors within on article to there profile

I hope you understand what we are trying to do and it would be great to get some help or ideas how to do it. Maybe someone has done something simular before...any link is welcome.

What ist the differnece between the Felxicontent related field and DOKSoft Related Items?

the DOKSoft Related Items, is a fork (duplicate) of relation field that adds some extra features (i don't remember now what ... please ask author if something is unclear),

as fas as i know they are data-compatible so you can change the field type from relation field to DOKSoft Related Items and back
... and your fields will work

Just FLEXIcontent relation field will be added more features too, and it is up to the author of DOKSoft Related Items, to update his code

If DOKSoft Related Items has a feature that is useful to you, add it is worth buying it , then do !

PS: v2.1.0 adds support for variable number of voting stars and voting stars resolution , i do not know if this is related to your ranking-thing

e.g. you can have a 10 voting star maximum, with half star voting resolution
