Hello
I'm using the native tabs from in a template.
On the left side of each tab there is a info Icon
[attachment=0:1gdrb70l]<!-- ia0 -->informations.jpg<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:1gdrb70l]

Now, when clicking on the tab a tooltip appears giving the tab name as info (not very usefull).

Is there a way to create a customized message explaining the content of the tab or can we avoid the displaying of the icon ?

Thanks for help
best regards
Michel

Hello

you can use CSS to change the icon, if you examine the icon you will see that it is configurable differently for each content type or even differently for specific items

because it is contained in HTML tags with appropriate classes

see flexicontent.css file for an example:
Search for comment text in it:
"TAB appearance customizations per content Type"

Thank you very much.

If I customize the css file (changing the info icon file name) what will happen when upgrading the component.

I'm afraid that the customisation will be replaced by the upgraded one.

I have also tried to suppress the tooltip (as I can't insert a customized text in the tooltip). But I didn't succeeded. I have tried to customize the tabber-minimized.js.
I have changed the following text
Code:
/* If the user specified the tab names using a TITLE attribute on the DIV, then the browser will display a tooltip whenever the mouse is over the DIV. To prevent this tooltip, we can remove the TITLE attribute after getting the tab name. */ this.removeTitle = true;

When Updating the removeTitle to 'false', I loose the tab display.

Could it be possible in a future version to have with the tab title field a linked field to enter a customized tooltip text ?

best regards

Hello,

1.
modify FLEXIcontent core CSS files ?, i never suggested that, i said where you can find the rules,

as you know you can place your custom CSS to any other CSS file, just make the of higher importance.

How to customize CSS styles of FLEXIcontent

-- About tooltips i think i will change this so that a tooltip same a TAB title will not be shown
