Hi people,
I have a issue with the permissions to registered users, I want registered users can't change the language and the category to which the item is assigned, how can I do?

Edit from front end

Hello

-- about language you disallow 'showing' the selector for frontend item form
this can be done in component setting (ITEM FORM TAB) or per content type (inside the ITEM form slider)

-- about category, disallow your user the edit.state.* privilege thus they will not be able to publish changes unless they are approved

-- Flexicontent is Free but involves a big effort on our part.

Hi ggppdk,thanks a lot
language option more or less it's solved.

My option in flexicontent global configuration
<!-- ia2 -->language.png<!-- ia2 -->[/attachment:3o7kbs99]

but ONLY for items already created.
Edit element created, it's correctly doesn't see the option to change language
<!-- ia1 -->Language2.png<!-- ia1 -->[/attachment:3o7kbs99]

But the problem it's when I want to create a "Add new content" from the front end with a registered user
<!-- ia0 -->language4.png<!-- ia0 -->[/attachment:3o7kbs99]

still see the options to change the language and categories.

The idea it's that a registered user can't change the language or the category.

Thanks again

Regards
Rapici

Hello

you can limit the languages per specific user, in the author management,

but i know this is too much work to do for every user that registers in the system

-- upcoming version will allow to limit ALLOWED language per usergroup !

for now, don't give you usergroup the publish privilege (neither edit , nor edit own) thus the changes will not become active until you edit and review and click save ;)

about category the process is same you will be able to review and approve the changes
