Created date and time in Item view

1. In the Type configuration one can choose to display/hide Created date and time. Where do I set the format for this date and time?

2. There is a core field called Created in the list of fields. Where is this field displayed in the front end when using the blog template?

Nevertheless a remark on the date field. Should this not be front end language dependent? Meaning the admin should choose from one of the Joomla language strings from the Joomla core language file instead of setting a static format.

this is already implemented / possible

1. the date field uses language variables for the drop down selection choices

(as you can see in date.xml)

DATE_FORMAT_LC1
DATE_FORMAT_LC2
DATE_FORMAT_LC3
DATE_FORMAT_LC4

2. the custom date format can be a language string too
