Hello,
I am desperatly trying to find a way to make the field Image fancy Box appear inside the description, not above.
If I move it via the Template parameters, the image is above the title of the article, or at the end of the article...
I would like it to appear just after the title, in an float left position.
Before, I was using SIGplus, it was perfect, but sadly flexicontent doesn't want to show the picture (only the tag) in the category view...
So I try with Fancy Box (which is a lot better than just putting a simple image, because you can get the full size image in a pop up), but I can't get it in the proper place I'm looking for...
I've been looking everywhere in flexi parameters, but I can't see where to change this : would you have any idea ? Is it possible ? How tho achieve this ?
Thank you.

Hello

1. are you speaking of category view or of item view?

2. template parameters?
have you not tried using template positions ?
Starting with FLEXIcontent (Basic usage)

3. you do not mention the FLEXIContent template that you are using

you can place the image field before description and then align it with some CSS

Hello,

1: I'm talking about item view

3: I use the 'default' template for item view

2: yes I did try different positions in the template parameters. The best result is obtained when I choose the 'image' position, but it still not inside the description. It is above.

Using some css ? I'm not comfortable with modifying css.

May I add a new question ? Why Flexi does not respect the <hn>, <strong>, ... tags, and not even reproduce the hypertext links that do exist in a item in the blog categrory view template ???
At this point, I have to use the basic Joomla category blog menu link if I want to have something on my screen that is relevant with the appearance of my site (still working on a local occurence).
I really like the functions of flexicontent, but I'm struggling with appearance ...

Hello

about appearance

1. you can always duplicate a built-in template and then edit files
item.php (item view)
category_items.php (category view)
and their CSS
css/item.css
css/category.css

you may see how here:
www.flexicontent.org/documentati ... rials.html

-- for the purpose of customizing appearance:
automatic matching with you Joomla template is not possible, since there are numerous different Joomla templates (and people are selling these because it requires time to make them, but of course time to make a Joomla template was only a fraction of the time needed to create FLEXIcontent, which is given free, and after a lot of effort almost bug-free to despite of its size)

2. If you don't want to edit the CSS yourself,
then please rely on the built-in template positions and default CSS styling, or ask a professional to add your styling requirements, it is not bad that people make a living out of it ;)

Regards
