[disabled in J25] Change Email/Feed/Print icons doesn't work

I want to override the print / email / feed icons in my template. First I created the icons in a folder myTemplate/images/system. After update (and delete browser cache) the frontend no success, the default icons were still shown. Then I copied the icons in myTemplate/images folder, same result. There are always displayed the default icons.

Joomla version 2.5.16
FLEXIcontent version 2.1.1 r1793

with regards

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hello

the above FAQ article is correct about location of overriding images:

overriding images must be placed in folder:
joomla_template_folder/images/image_filename.png

but it works only in J1.5

-- existing version FLEXIcontent does not try to enable overriding of images in J2.5+
... this is because J2.5 changed the way that this is done, we will review this to see if possible enable
