I have set an specific category to select articles to be shown in a module. This new category is set as a secondary, so I have just some articles on it.
When I use module to show articles as list or sliding, I choose this secondary category as the source of articles. Category appears in the lists of sources.
But when publishing the module, it appears a message saying that there are no articles in that category.
I have tried with the joomla module and with noo content slider
Some help to sort this out?

do you mean the FLEXIContent Universal Content Module ?
so you are you using FLEXIContent Universal Content Module ? and you have selected the category in the category SCOPE ?
please note that secondary category assignments will work inside FLEXIcontent view and FLEXIcontent modules
