Default template : big Gap if I remove pagination/nb item

If I have these parameters in main FC configuration view category



it is logical to have this bog gap in default template view ?

Hello

by looking into the web-link that you posted i can see that:

1. there are 2 unnecessary clearing div inside the category layout of the 'default' template
(1 at top and 1 at bottom before pagination)

2. but most space is due filter/search <form> HTML element which has no visible fields, this done by bootstrap CSS



in r1872:
^ Do not add the filter/search form in category layouts when it is empty (=not
visible form field elements), this will avoid weird vertical spacing due to
default bootstrap CSS applied on the form element
