Can favorites be resolved to render relation fields?

Type NewsType
Category NewsCategory
Template NewsTemplate


NewsType and MusicType have reverse field relation.

An author (joomla user ) can mark the item of type MusicType as Favorite.

I want to display news to the logged in user only which are related to music items which he/she has marked as favorite.

Pseudocode will be (for explaining logic of what needs to be achieved)

Select logged user
For each user->favorite->itemtype = musictype
Display item Item-> relationfieldNEWS //displays news related to favorite music thro reverse relation

Can we achieve this using either the FelxiMenu-> Favorite or universal content module?

you can do this in the favourites menu item
