multi language site menu association

Hello
I have a multilanguage style.
The menu is composed of :
- Flexicontent unique item
- Rs Form for contact us.

I need an advice about articles association and menu association :
I can associate articles following the language and I can associate menu records following the language.

Until now I do the association for articles inside FC and inside the menu management for other menu records.

What is the best way to do the association : as I do now or doing the association only in the menu management.

if you have only a limitted number of content e.g. 10, then you may consider using menu items

but is generally better to use item associations in ALL cases

So try to do this:
-- set item associatons for ALL items that have translations
-- also set some menu items associations

menu item associations should take precedence

test the above, do you have any problem switching the language while such a menu item is selected ?
