Hello,
On the server i will use, i haven't image with flexicontent
http://editice1/flexi/components/com_fl ... &q=95&zc=1

http://editice1/flexi is right, it's a alias of data/editice1/www/flexi ...

And if you look after src, ...php?src=/editice1/flexi ...
www/ is missing between editice1 and flexi ...

I tried to modified phpthumb.config.php but error seems to be when a parameter is send to phpthumb ...

Is someone knowing this configuration troubleshooting ?

Thanks a lot

Hello

1. which FC version/revision are you you using ? and which Joomla version ?

2. are you speaking
of image field?
of FLEXIcontent blog template?
of universal module news template ?

3. are you getting some error message what is it?
remember that in image field the path must be relative to joomla folder, thus it must not start with a slash /

also please see this FAQ articles:

Hello

there maybe something wrong with SEF URL rewritting
can you temporarily test without SEF enabled ?

Hello

make a small php script:
Code:
<?php echo $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'];

it should print your document root with no "aliases"

otherwise phpThumb will not work properly

Finally, you can try to manually set the variable:
$PHPTHUMB_CONFIG

edit file
components/com_flexicontent/libraries/phpthumb/phpthumb.config.php
comment out the line:
Code:
$PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['document_root'] = realpath ...

and add a new line like:
Code:
$PHPTHUMB_CONFIG['document_root'] = '/dir1/dir2/public_html'; ...
what ever is the correct path for your web-site

Hello,

similar issue here: the root directory at some point seems to be not recognized by phpthumb.

This happened after moving my site to another host (managed server), where the document root path "public_html" is a softlink to /usr/www/users/<username>.

I checked the real document root path and put it into $PHPTHUMB_CONFIG in phpThumb.config.php, tried some variations (relative / absolute path), but no success.

SEF and URL rewrite is turned off, and everything else seems to work as before.

So I don't know what to do. Thankful for advice!

(J! 3.3.1, FC r1910)

EDIT:
Oops - it's working now :P – cannot say why.
Might be this had to do with conflicting DNS entries during domain transfer, which is completed now.
