How to monetize site using FC? was created by dealio

I want to use FC as a classifieds or directory. What extensions/plugins do you recommend to monetize a site using FC?

example:
- charge for featured items
- or charge for x amount for each item(s) after a set number.
- payment gateway
- notifications
etc

you can use akeeba subscription

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

1. FLEXIcontent for most features, uses ACL on user groups

2. for adding your users to privileged user groups you may use e.g.
Akeeba Subscriptions
