hi there,

it's the strangest thing: i upgraded a website from j2.5.2(6?) to j3.3.3.
Suddenly all menu links of type 'FC > Category' silently "fail" as in: they just show the homepage instead.

What is going wrong here? Any hint is greatly appreciated.

kath :)

ps:
FC-Version j2.5.x = r1857
FC-Version j3.3.3 = r1857 (I re-downloaded and re-installed FLEXIcontent CCK v2.1.3 r1857 for J2.5/J3.x)

Hello

1. upgrade to v2.2.0 r1932
2. clean your frontend cache once

do you have Joomla conservative/progressing caching enabled ?
v2.2.0 should work properly with it

ah, thanks for the clarification, i'll try that.
(r1857 also has a "J3.x" in its download-description, that sent me onto the wrong road...) i'll report back the results. kath :)

@ggppdk
>> do you have Joomla conservative/progressing caching enabled ?
Yes, I had the conservative cache enabled. My problem went away after I upgraded FC, checked (no success), cleaned all caches, checked (no success), disabled the joomla cache, checked (SUCCESS).

>> v2.2.0 should work properly with it
Yes, that plus disabling the joomla-cache fixed the problem, thanks again.
PS: Congrats to your much cleaner backend UI in this release! :D
