[multi-cat assignments ?] SEF again, cat id in item links

Hi,
the SEF behaviour of Joomla/FlexiContent is driving me crazy. Here is the latest issue. I have setup a new article last Friday and I am displaying it with a menu link:
www.muenstermann.com/de/entstaub ... ntile.html
Doing a Google search today showed that Google has put a different link into its index adding category and item ID after the menu link.
www.muenstermann.com/de/entstaub ... /1266.html
On both pages it is not used the menu link but the menu link plus IDs as canonical information.
Is this a wanted behaviour?

Hello

this is because of multi-category assignments

Explanation:
-- the menu item of TYPE: "Single Item" contain a variable 'cid' which is category id of the item (by default is main category, but you can filter by category before selecting the item in order to use the category id of a secondary category of the item)

if a menu item is selected to be in the SEF URL of the item but he menu item has a different category id that the category id of the current item link

then you get url like this

The item is assigned to one category only!

Hello

then the menu item must be
- either lacking variable 'cid' (category id),
- or it was created with a different category id and then item was moved to a different category
Code:

if you edit the menu item and go to the link (readonly) field
does it have a:
&cid=243

and you have v2.2.0 r1932, right ?

The link is as follows: index.php?option=com_flexicontent&view=item&cid=243&id=1266
I was not sure if I moved the item to a different category (pretty sure I haven't), so I reassigned the menu item and the result is the same link.

Yes!
By the way, if I apply the link above to domain name it leads me to a third totally invalid link: www.muenstermann.com/index.php?o ... 43&id=1266 . Don't know what's going on, but I also posted that JCE plugin is not working for me, remember?

Hello

why did you say that this link is inlvalid ?

www.muenstermann.com/index.php?o ... 43&id=1266

it is a valid non-SEF link that point the item

but about appending category id / item id to menu item, it should not happen if menu item has a matching category id, if i cannot replicate it locally i will need access to the web-site

Well, perhaps "invalid is the wrong term", but non-sef and sef link point to different pages. This is copied from the menu but clicking on the menu item actually shows THIS page:
www.muenstermann.com/de/entstaub ... ntile.html
So, there must be a routing issue, or?

Update: Clicking on
www.muenstermann.com/index.php?o ... 43&id=1266
routes to
www.muenstermann.com/de/?option= ... 43&id=1266
