[GD required] Image not uploading in image field was created by rafah

Hi,

I added an image field to my article.Whenever I try to upload my image to the article,its just showing noGD thumbnail.How to solve this problem?

Hello

i see that the image is uploaded but thumbnail is not created, and you get a message:
"no GD"

GD is the graphics library used by phpThumb to make thumbnails

it is usually enabled in 99% of servers, but maybe it is not on your server ?

-- in Joomla backend (J3)
a. click menu item:
System / System Information
b. Click TAB "PHP information" and search for:
"GD Support"

if it is disabled contact your web-host provider about how to enabling it
