Hi,

I do not know if that might be possible but if it was possible, for friendly SEO that would be perfect.

Is it possible to auto generate meta description and meta keywords from individual contents (articles)?

That is, to take part of the description as meta description and let say the tag field for meta keywords?

As a CCK extension, Flexicontent is also used as part of directories for large website, in many occasions, articles are added/managed by end-users who do not really matter about the meta contents, hence, if there was a way to auto generate it from the articles field itself, that would be just perfect and I guess not only for me but for other FC lovers as well.

do you test a joomla plugin for it ?

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

Hi, I am using default Joomla sef configuration and did not tried any third party plugin, any specific advice for this? A specific plugin I should use please?

Hello

how would decide the best META words ?

by counting the number of times , a word appears in the desription text ?
(that is our intention for auto-generating tags too, tag work will be done in v2.3.0/2.4.0 and will import FC tags as J3 tags)

-- after META keywords were misused Google no longer uses them to decide indexing and ranking of web-page,

-- also it maybe safer not to have META keywords to avoid getting negative ranking in some case by google, in the case that google algorithm decides that you are cheating ?
