Gallery view of image field not opening on touch

Hi,

I have added image field to my item.Its gallery view is working only on mouse click.On touch it is not working.That is when i click on image ,image popup as gallery is not working.How can I fix this?

hhmm i am not sure if this is a bug,



1. image/gallery field has a parameter for selecting which gallery JS script to use/load for display the gallery,
(Gallery JS parameter in field configuration)

some of them are built-in some need to install external plugin



2. you do not mention which one you are using, every JS gallery script has has different behaviour / apperance,
try changing the parameter to see what is available



3. in next FLEXIcontent version v2.3.0 or in v2.2.2 we will examine updating the JS gallery scripts to latest versions for those that there is one available

I am using multibox built in for gallery layout.I tried all other built in layouts.But none of them is working on touch.Please help me.I want to fix it as soon as possible.

-- if you have more than 1 image/gallery fields, make sure than none of the is loading multibox


-- if multibox is loaded is loaded nothing is clickable (via touch) inside the page
e.g. the links are not clickable, the problem is probably because of the overlay container of the multibox, that is above everything while being transparent


-- so change all images fields to use "fancybox" as popup gallery, or any other JS gallery except multibox,



-- we will see if we can fix this, or we may "silently" load fancybox in the future ignoring this setting
to be sure that multibox is not load do:
"view HTML source" in your desktop computer and search for "multibox"

please read my previous message,

your answer should have been

"i tried to disable multibox, but when i do view HTML source and i see that it gets loaded and i don't know why it get loaded"



so it does not matter which gallery you use,

1. if multibox is loaded you cannot click anything inside the webpage, you cannot click links or images or anything

and if you do "view (HTML) page source" you will see that multibox is loaded




2. if you have disabled multibox (you choose different) and despite this you still get it loaded, then you may give admin access and i will see who is loading it

The problem is solved.I deleted multibox folder from library.Now I use fancy box.Now its working on touch ..Thanks once again.

currently only place that multibox would be loaded is the image field,

maybe you have 2 images/gallery ?

and 1 of them was set to load multibox ?



will test to try make a fix for this in v2.2.1,
otherwise we make silently replace it with fancybox

Yes exactly.I had set gallery view of rate card to multibox.That was the issue.
