FLEXIcontent or ZOO 2.0?

Hi!

Tomorrow ZOO 2.0 is released.
What do you think about it based on the information in their blog posts?
What is the advantages/disadvantages of FLEXI/ZOO 2.0 as you see it?

I have not decided what CCK to use yet... It's hard these days :geek:

I did not read about Zoo2, but I'm pretty sure all CCK have their advantages and their issues.
I like Flexicontent, because it helps me create what I want for the sites I'm running, but I would perhaps get another one if I had different needs

From what I learned at the Joomladay in France is that K2 is better fitted for blod, Sobi2 for directories, - this from Manu himself - so I bet Zoo2 will be great for certain types of sites, but not all of them

I have never tried SOBI2. I'll have a look at it.

A site for lyrics, chords and stuff. Perhaps SOBI2 will be a better choice for me

I did not try Sobi2 either, but I remember what you want to achieve, I really think you should give it a try

The best way to know what you need is to try the different components on a test site and decide which options are important for you

Yeah I will try it as soon as I get the time... (I have very little time and I'm lazy. Bad combo ) To bad the SOBI2 forum is down for maintenance as I have a few threads going on there. I hope it's up soon.

I know I have to try them to know if it's right for me. I have tried MightyExtensions, Fabrik, FLEXIcontent and jSeblod CCK. I'm tired of testing :shock:

I have hopes for SOBI2 though :mrgreen:

Flexicontent is more simply to use then jSeblod CCK (is very powerfull but very complex to use) and i think FC have a better code structure ...
But jSeblod CCK have a bigger team develloper and he have more option.
But i prefer the FC simpliciti and powerfull usability
