Hello,

I have a simple problem. I have a type that has a custom field "date". Now I would like to be able to sort the items according to the date.

How can I do so ?

.. simply go to category

tabs params
tabs Items List Creation
Order by
CORE field/properties
=> custom field yes
=> choose your field
=> choose type of ordering

FLEXIcontent is Free but involves a very big effort on our part.
Like the our support? (for a bug-free FC, despite being huge extension) Like the features? Like the ongoing development and future commitment to FLEXIcontent?

I think I've found a bug in ordering. Somehow, if you have items in a subcategory, the ordering in the parent category is not as expected.

For instance, I tried a category "Events" containing items with a "Date" field. So I choose to order by "Event date" which works.

Next, I created subcategories for the "Events" ("Exhibitions", "Shows"). I reassigned all my items to the subcategory. However when I show the "Events" category in front-end (with sub-items), the ordering is not working as expected. It seems to order somehow but I don't know how.
