Hello,

I have a question related to the predefined filter option in the categories.
What ist the correct syntax for datefields?
I tried this:
15##2015-01-02%%
But it does not work.

Is it possible to use here a function like 'today'?
That would be good, because at start I want to show all items (here events) from today and later.

Additional question:
Are the values of the predefined filters shown in search mask? Actually it does not seem so...

Best regards and thanks for your great component!!
Matthias

hello

syntax is correct correct , if it was wrong you would get zero items

i guess it is not applied, did you add this in category config OR in menu item ?

if in menu item then also inside the menu item enable parameter:

"override category configuration"

Thanks for your very fast reply!
Now it works. The problem was that I use a range in the searchmask and than the syntax was not correct.
The --- was missing, sorry!

What about the question to use a function like 'today' or 'today()+30 days'. That would be very helpful as a predefined filter option.

Matthias

Hell

about using SQL DATE expression (syntax)

like:

NOW()+INTERVAL 1 DAY

currently you cannot cannot because value are -Quoted-, adding a parameter:

do not quote value for fields:

would allow such usage, but how often this is needed ? to justify adding such a parameter ?

of course you talk about dates and indeed several developers knowing SQL would find useful

but still very uncommon

Hello

you can try using universal content module that has a highly configurable "DATE scope"
