Search index not working completly

Hi,
I have a new question today
I have a working site with 35 items.
All the search plugins are published.
I have 3 text area fields and the description text core field.
I put the search to "on" for my 3 text area.
The problem is a lot of words are missing in results, even very simple words.
So far i understand this, only the description core field is indexed..
Are the text area field indexed or not ?
If that's possible, how can i verify the index for these text area fields ?

there are 2 search indexes,

- basic index has 1 recored per item
- advanced index has 1 recored per field value


which one do you mean,
category view, category-like view use basic
and
search view, use basic or advanced (which is configured in the active ('search') menu item)

I create the index in basic and advanced as usual.
For example, i have a text area containing "my name is xavier" (just an example
If i search "xavier", i have "no results".
I use "ajax search module" ( offlajn.com/universal-ajax-live- ... e.tpl.html )and for the test, i put all the search plugin active. This module works usually perfectly on all my sites.

It works in the description field for any word but nothing raise from my test area...

For now, i find a trick to have my keywords working : i create a text field with multiples values where i put my keywords.
These value are correctly indexed.
Anyway, the text area field are not indexed...
