Float image left in Blog Template

I am having trouble in the blog template displaying the category image to the left of the text in the category view. The closest i seem to get is Shown in screen shot 1.

What i want to get is something like what is shown in screen shot 2. I am sure it,s probable just a setting that i have wrong but i am not able to figure out what it is, could someone point me to the correct settings?

you want to float the image to the left but the text should be placed below the image (picture 2) ?

No I want image left with the text to the right of the
image. The screen shots got reversed in the upload.

Please post a link to your page! Without seeing what's happening css-wise it's hard to tell!

What i am trying to get is just the one larger image with the text to the right and NO 2nd smaller image above.
