Hi,

How flexicontent is dealing with aliases and url rewriting.
I have noticed on a test environment with url rewriting enabled that www.yoursite.com/whatever/ %ID% and %ID% is the joomla id of the item, this is working, you are on the page with that article, no matter what you put in whatever... I would like to disable this behaviour but I don't find how.

Hello

please always mention FLEXIcontent / Joomla versions

1. i guess your home page is menu item is FLEXIcontent
(any type)
-- since the URL is routed to the component last valid menu item

so FLEXIcontent is the menu item found by Joomla, so you homepage must (of current language) be FLEXIcontent

but we have code in recent versions to set FLEXIcontent (content) item ID to zero and cause a 404 error

-- if you have FLEXIcontent v2.2.1 or later

then i would like to see the configuration that makes this possible

please verify that you have 2.2.1 or later and send me a PM with super admin login and a few examples of URLs that you tried
