Idea : is it a good one or not to include all template in FC

Hi,
I have an idea but i prefer to submit this one before

In a regular way, in a Joomla template, you have in the index the load of the different module.
In the "main" one, you have contents called and Flexicontent is shown in this main area.

I was wondering : is this a good idea to have only one main area in the template and use the Flexicontent template system to call all the part of the template ? This way, i use Flexicontent to a fully templating system.

Also, it become possible to have a complete conditionnal template : you can call any field you want where you want in the page.

Imagine : i have 2 radio button and i check "big banner" or "small banner". I could have check button with "left column", "right column", etc...
I can have also a button to check to get a standart display of the page (coded in the Flexicontent template).

The question is : is this a good idea or not ? I think about the loading time of the page and the real interest of this way to do (or not).
